We get lots of questions about how to make templates for foam armor costumes. Unfortunately there is no one perfect method, so it’s worth trying out a variety of techniques to see what works for you, your tools, and your particular costume. In this video Bill did a little bit of experimenting to build a helmet template without using any kind of head form, using tools and materials readily available from the hardware store.
